1. Because the focus of the Blue Letter Bible is on Scripture and its authority over all aspects of Christianity, we want you to be able to find the verse you're looking for even from the first page. To this end, our homepage contains both Verse Search and Word Search tools. The Verse Search tool (illustrated below) contains four parts: Book, Chapter, Verse, and Select button. Each of these shall be dealt with below.

2. First, click on the to the immediate right of the box that says "Genesis" (see visual below).

3. A scrollable list of available books will appear. Click on the Book you would like to select.

4. Now enter the Chapter number that you would like to browse.

5. Now enter the Verse number (you will be able to view all the verses in the selected chapter, but enter a specific verse will transfer you directly to that point in the text.

6. Now simply click on the "Select" button to be whisked to your selected verse.
